Love, hearth and home.<\/em><\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td bgcolor=\"#cc6633\" width=\"40%\" valign=\"top\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><em>Pinch of cayenne pepper or to taste<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><em> \u00bc teaspoon ground cinnamon<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><em> 1\/8 teaspoon ground cloves<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><em> 1 tablesspoon cocoa powder<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><em> 1\u00bd teaspoon sugar<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><em> \u00bc teaspoon vanilla extract<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><em> \u00be cup light cream<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><em> \u00be cup whole milk<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><em> 4 heaping tablespoons of bittersweet chocolate chips<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><em>NOTE \u2013 the original recipe calls for light cream uncut by milk.<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><em> Feel free to make your cup as decadent as you like.<\/em><\/span><\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\" width=\"60%\">\n<h3><em>Directions<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Combine the cinnamon, cloves, cayenne pepper, vanilla and sugar in a small saucepan and a few tablespoons of the half-and-half. Stir to make a paste.<\/p>\n<p>Over low heat, add the chocolate chips and a few more tablespoons of the half-and-half and stir until melted. Gradually add the rest of the half-and-half, stirring until all the ingredients are well incorporated. Heat over a medium Flame until bubbles appear around the edges. Don\u2019t allow the mixture to boil.<\/p>\n<p>Pour into mugs, sprinkle with cinnamon and serve to a loved one.
