With the support of our generous donors, we\u2019re reuniting children with their families, finding foster homes for others, providing a Boys Town family for those with nowhere else to turn, and helping many others in their own homes so they can stay with their families.<\/p>\n<p>Boys Town North Florida is part of the original Boys Town, founded nearly 100 years ago in Omaha, Neb. As a national leader in the treatment and care of abused, abandoned and neglected girls and boys, Boys Town provides children with a safe, caring, loving environment where they gain confidence to heal and learn skills to become productive citizens.<\/p>\n<p>The first of Boys Town\u2019s national sites, Boys Town North Florida has been serving children and families since 1983. In 2014, its Integrated Continuum of Care\u00ae services touched the lives of 4,700 people in North Florida, including 748 children who received direct assistance from Treatment Family Services and Child and Family Support Services.<\/p>\n<p>Boys Town North Florida is truly invested in the community, bringing life-changing care to thousands of children and families over the past 32 years and serving as an excellent steward of donor support.<br \/>\n<strong>These services include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Boys Town Treatment Family Homes SM \u2013 Married couples called Family-Teachers\u00ae care for children in three homes for boys and two homes for girls in Tallahassee.<\/li>\n<li>Boys Town Foster Family Services\u00ae \u2013 Foster parents receive training from Boys Town so they can take in children who can\u2019t return to their own families because of abuse, neglect or other care issues.<\/li>\n<li>Boys Town In-Home Family Services\u00ae \u2013 Trained family consultants work with struggling families in their own homes.<\/li>\n<li>Boys Town Care Coordination Services \u2013 Consultants help parents and caregivers access, navigate and monitor the services their children need, providing a lifeline for children suffering from mental health issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Boys Town North Florida also offers a variety of preventive and self-help programs, including our Common Sense Parenting\u00ae classes, where parents learn positive discipline and relationship-building skills.<\/p>\n<p>Our newest service, ART (Art, Resources, Training) Town is a multi-use retreat for therapy, mentoring and creativity for children and families that face a wide variety of challenges. Here, they can concentrate on restoring their spirits and healing their souls.<\/p>\n<p>The Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance has named Boys Town an Accredited Charity.
